- Page 7 Working with modes The Saitek X52 Pro FCS offers extensive opportunities for you to configure your controller to work the way you want it to. You do this by creating profiles, using the SST programming software. (See the SST programming software manual for details.).
- I've been looking forward to trying out the new Flight Simulator. It looks amazing! As luck would have it I got to borrow my friends old setup, Saitek X52 - which is on the supported list for Flight Simulator 2020.
Finally, I have found time to get reintroduced into Elite Again.
I also happen to have according to the title, a Saitek x52 Pro.
I was wondering if anyone with a half-decent .pr0 file would lower themselves to upload a copy here.
I have tried to find one throughout the interwebs, put I come up empty handed.
Yes, I could make one myself from scratch, but it really consumes time, if doing it from scratch. I do reminisce from my old X2/X3-days that it was more tweaking than playing. Right now, I'd like to just throw myself into my piloting-chair and take off. (-remembering buttons by it self is a tuff job)
So.. Any gentle pilots out there in the void Space that could upload a set of instructions for my engine?
It would be much appreciated, and I believe there are more people out there, that would appreciate it.
Thanks in advance.
When it comes to flight simulators, I can never remember how I’ve mapped my joystick buttons.
Your profiles can be managed via the Saitek Controller icon, in your taskbar, next to the clock. Click this icon to reveal the profile menu. All profiles in your profile folder will be displayed in this menu (e.g CrysisALLPADS). Left click the profile that you want to activate. To enable that you must left click on the saitek x52 app image where you would load the profile and go into it's control panel. There are a lot of neat things there like light controls but ignore all that and click on the MFD tab and uncheck the box labled 'Enable Clutch Mode'. Hey everyone I would like to present you my profile for Saitek / Logitech X52 Pro HOTAS. Several buttons are unmapped - you can map them as you like. Fire D on throttle = modifier Throttle clutch button = I leave it blank to associate with the application to communicate with other players. Saitek X52, and games for it? Although it is nowhere near true HOTAS with the lengthy process of setting up profiles for either sim. Spent most of last night screwing around with jets. Inputmap5.xml (GAME PROFILE Named Saitek X52 Plus) you need to put the file inside the Documents Egosoft X4 XXXXXXXX (XXXXXXXX = the save number) It will add the profile to the custom slot 5, if you have something there, change the number of the file name to the free slot 1,2,3 or 4.
Rather than relearning/remapping every time I loaded up a sim, I dusted off Adobe Illustrator and created these little PDF cheat sheets that I fill out for every game. Now, I give them to you! /how-to-download-pokemon-omega-ruby-rom-for-android.html.

Each layout has two fields per button, in case you’re using a modifier button or playing a game that switches states (e.g. Landing Mode or Galaxy Map in Elite: Dangerous). You can type right into the PDF and save or print, or just print a blank copy and write in the entries with a pencil. I usually do the latter, since, at least for the first few hours of a game, I’m getting familiar with the most important buttons and update the layout multiple times before settling on the “right” one.
Here’s the layout I’m currently using for Elite: Dangerous.
