The 737 MAX is a re-engined and aerodynamically-refined model of 737 Next Generation (NG) series. The MAX series will include the -7, -8, and -9. The new engine is the Leap-X1B and for putting these huge engines, the nose gear length has been extended. Also for reducing drag, the vertical stabilizer shape has changed. Wingtip design is also changed to a 'Y' shape to reduce drag and increase lift.
